Commercial Account Manager Lead
You will report to the APAC Operations Manager, and be based at our Perth office in Western Australia. As a Commercial Account Manager Lead, you will be responsible for growth within our existing accounts across the APAC region whilst leading a team of two people within the Operations Team. The purpose of this team is to ensure existing customers optimize their current investment into GIM Suite by providing leadership, guidance, and commercial support.
Here’s what we need from you
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Account Management role
- Experience in Team Leadership desirable
- Diploma Level or higher qualification in Sales & Marketing, Commerce, or Geosciences (or equivalent relevant field) qualification preferred
- Strong understanding of APAC markets and the mining industry
- Technical competency and competency using Microsoft Office and related tools
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels
- Excellent written and oral communication skills that are appropriate for a business-to-business context
Here’s what you’ll do
- Leadership of a Commercial Account Manager and Sales Administrator within the APAC region
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships across the mining and exploration value chain
- Identify sales opportunities and execute strategies to expand acQuire’s footprint within existing customer accounts
- Communicate acQuire’s philosophy, value proposition, and solutions to customers at varying technical and strategic levels.
- Participate in customer support and service agreement meetings (typically quarterly), ensuring alignment on deliverables and opportunities
- Sustain acQuire’s maintenance revenue portfolio while delivering accurate revenue forecasting and reconciliation
- Collaborate internally with Technical Support, Product Development, and Implementation teams to ensure customer needs are met
- Contribute to product development insights by communicating customer challenges and market feedback into GIM Suite's technology development roadmap
- Demonstrate sufficient technical understanding of acQuire’s products to answer customer questions confidently and accurately
- Represent acQuire professionally with customers, partners, and at key industry events across the APAC region
