Geometallurgy Lead
You will report to the Shared Services Lead, and be based at our Perth office. As the Geometallurgy Lead, you will lead a cross-functional team developing and delivering our geometallurgy solution for the mining industry. You will lead the solution, guiding the team’s priorities, and being the bridge between industry knowledge, technical delivery, and business outcomes. You will be the “go-to” for all things industry-specific — setting the vision and helping shape features to meet real-world needs and ensuring commercial success.
Here’s what we need from you
10+ years’ experience in geometallurgy, geology or related fields, ideally in operational, commercial, or leadership roles.
Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects or products from concept to market.
Strong commercial acumen — comfortable with P&L ownership and business case development.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels
Here’s what you’ll do
Lead the solution, guiding activities in close collaboration with other business functions such as product development, marketing, sales and IT to ensure alignment and commercial success.
Work with the acQuire Leadership team to guide the overall vision and strategy.
Represent the solution externally to customers, partners and the industry.
Guide internal teams with your knowledge, mentoring them on industry trends, workflows, and challenges.
Be the voice of the customer and the market.
Be the industry liaison with external stakeholders.
