Associate Software Engineer
You will report to the Software Engineer Lead and be based at our Perth office in Western Australia. As an Associate Software Engineer, you will be accountable for developing skills and competencies in the design, development and maintenance of our software applications and associated scripts and services. Collaborating closely within the Software Engineering team your role is to translate user and technical requirements into scalable and efficient coded solutions.
Job Requirements
Familiar with Agile methodologies, principles, processes, and frameworks.
A strong capability in Software Development.
A good understanding and experience in cloud application.
Experience in programming languages.
Knowledge of in all aspects of the Software Life Cycle.
Knowledge of a wide range of software tools through all stages of the Software Life Cycle.
Scripting experience.
Experience in SQL, relational databases and developing for Win32, web and mobile environments are desirable.
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Organised, efficient, and accurate.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
Software Design
· Creates and documents detailed designs for simple software applications or components.
· Applies agreed modelling techniques, standards, patterns, and tools.
Software Engineering
· Designs, codes, verifies, tests, documents, amends, and refactors simple program functionality and scripts.
· Applies agreed standards and tools to achieve a well-engineered result.
Builds
· Produces software builds from software source code.
· Conducts tests as defined in an integration test specification and records the details of any failures.
It is expected that the Associate Software Engineer will continue to develop and grow their skill sets to meet both current and future demands for the role as our technologies evolve.
